Taking interferons for MS at night may let you sleep through some bothersome side effects
Some, but not all people experience flu-like side effects after taking interferon therapy. These effects can range in severity or duration. This makes it hard to function effectively just as if you had a case of the flu. Therefore, some people time their injections for nighttime or over a weekend. This will mean that either they will sleep through much of what ever side effects they're going to experience or they will have a weekend in which to relax while the effects subside.
