Antibodies can be used as treatment for lymphoma
When a person with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma fights their disease there are presently several types of therapies that can be used. Traditionally they have included chemotherapy and therapy using antibodies that specifically target the cancer cells. Now another weapon has been added to the arsenal: radioimmontherapy.This uses antibodies attached to radioactive particles. This therapy can be effective in patients for whom previous therapies have not worked.
