Living with Asthma
Certain bugs can trigger asthma attacks
Many allergens can induce asthma attacks. Infections, chemical irritants, reflux disease, stress, pet dander and other allergens can trigger an allergic flare-up. Researchers have discovered that protein in the droppings of dust mites and cockroaches can cause breathing problems in some people. The key to minimizing asthma attacks is to keep bugs away, reduce all allergens, and maintain good airway control with medications.
